Julie Seido Nelson

My home zendo is Greater Boston Zen Center. I'm also a teacher at Great Plains Zen Center. I received full transmission in the Taizan Maezumi lineage from Susan Myoyu Andersen, Roshi in 2023, and before that, denkai transmission from Kate Hartland in the Harada-Yasutani lineage in 2021. I’ve practiced Zen since about 2003. I'm a retired university professor with two grown children and two grandchildren. I am particularly interested in keeping Zen practice from causing harm.
