Nancy Kodo Conover

Nancy Kodo Conover began Zen Practice with the Zen Community of Oregon and Co-Abbots Chozen and Hogen Bays in 2000. She received jukai in 2003 and completed the Sanghakai training program in 2009, received the title of Dharma Holder in June 2013 and Sangha Transmission in Feb. 2015. She is currently Heart of Wisdom Temple Manager and leads the Tuesday night's Discussion and Meditation group. She teaches Precept Classes and leads the community's Environmental Action Resources. Kodo retired from a career as a vocational rehabilitation counselor/manager for the State of Oregon to help establish Heart of Wisdom Zen Temple. She is married and has lived in the Pacific Northwest her whole adult life.
