Cathy Crouch

Cathy Crouch began meditating in 1975 and began Buddhist practice with the Houston Zen Community in 1989. Soon after, she became a student of Tenshin Reb Anderson and received the precepts from him in 1998. Since 2003 she has studied with Gaelyn Godwin at the Houston Zen Center. Cathy received Lay Entrustment in 2012 and is an assistant teacher at HZC.
She is a licensed clinical social worker and has worked with persons who are homeless since 1994. Cathy is co-author of Group Treatment of Substance Abuse, A Stages of Change Therapy Manual.
